witty
Chansons Gaillardes
by Poulenc.

Helen, accompanied by Celia, also sang herself - Debussy's Trois chansons de Bilitis.
Les nuits d'automne Robin Hendrix (mezzo-soprano) Michel Prezman (piano) 2 December 2007. Songs in English, French and German were beautifully sung by Robin, and Michel also played some solo pieces by Chopin, Debussy and a toccato composed by himself. Her set of Irish traditional songs, recently recorded by herself and Michel, was especially moving. 200€ raised in aid of Ingénieurs Soutien aux Pays en Voie de Développement (ISPVD).
We thank our friends: Chantale Angot for the long-term loan of her Kawai grand piano, and Rex Lemstra for expert piano tuning for each recital.
